I have been involved in online gaming since the 1980's when my father brought home a mini-pc that could only work via the internet. I played Wheel of Fortune for hours, and have continued to be an avid online gamer. The first active multi-player online game I was involved with was TradeWars2002, when a few friends of mine built and hosted a BBS. For years I played MUD's and other graphic MUD games.

[edit] Everquest and Beyond

On March 16, 1999 Everquest was released and I had my copy in-hand. Over the next 5+ years I was an extremely active member of the 7th Hammer server, playing as a Human Monk. I have since tried almost every MMO available, even some less than well known titles such as:
  • Everquest/Everquest 2: 5+ Years
  • Asheron's Call: 2+ Years
  • Final Fantasy 11: 5+ Years
  • World of Warcraft: 3+ Years
  • Dark Age of Camelot: 3+ Years
  • Lineage/Lineage 2: 2+ Years
  • Ragnarok: 2+ Years
  • Dozens of others

[edit] Warhammer

Having been a fan of Pen & Paper RPG's it may come as a shock that I have actually never played Warhammer 40k or anything regarding the Warhammer universe. WHO is my first experience with the Warhammer universe, and so far its been very entertaining to learn about the lore of the game. Knowing that Mythic created Warhammer, and having been a huge fan of DAoC, I knew that I couldn't pass up this opportunity to play a new RvR-based game.
