The loading screens display tips, some are player submitted, here is a list of all of them.

ListEdit

  • You get extra experience for participating in each stage of a Public Quest. Try visiting all the Public Quests in a chapter to increase your rewards!
  • You can join a Scenario from any location in the world. Just select the WAR symbol on your minimap to quickly jump in and RVR. But make sure you're standing somewhere safe, because when you're done, you're going right back to the location you joined from!
  • Typing /help in the chat window will provide a quick list of all available slash commands.
  • You can edit what services show up on your minimap. Click the square "Set Map Filters" button to set as many or as few map filters as you like.
  • Typing /emotelist in the chat window will bring up a list of all of the emotes currently available.
  • Party getting full? Convert your party to a warband by right clicking on the group and selecting "Form Warband." Get even more people in your Public Quests that way!
  • The /lockout command will show the timers for recently visited instances and the time remaining in minutes until they are available once again.
  • Interested in grouping with a member of your realm from a different pairing? You can fly between the different lands by visiting the Flight Master in your closest RvR Warcamp.
  • Like working with other players but afraid of commitment? Try open parties by clicking on the icon just below your player portrait. It's all the fun of grouping without the hassle of having to say why you're leaving. Enter and exit with no recourse!
  • You can customize your entire User Interface by clicking on the Customize UI wrench at the top of the screen.
  • Healing or Buffing an RvR flagged player will flag you for RvR.
  • There are hidden 'Easter egg' style quests placed around the world. Theses quests aren't located in the chapters so you'll need to search the world for them, if you want their rewards.
  • The Character Window shows all your stats and which items you've equipped. You can mouse over a stat or item in this window to get extra information about it. You can open the Character Window at any time by pressing "P."
  • Be careful! Falling from great heights will hurt you. If you fall from high enough, you will die.
  • Guild Standards can be wielded on the battlefield. They grant special bonuses to all nearby realm-mates.
  • When your guild has reached a high enough rank, the guild leader gets to choose the guild heraldry. No other guild will be able to have your exact heraldry.
  • Sometimes interacting with an object in the world can trigger a hidden quest.
  • Jumping is useful for getting around terrain but it will interrupt your abilities.
  • Potions are one-shot items that grant the drinker a temporary bonus. The effect of the bonus disappears if you die. Make nice with a crafter trained in the apothecary skill, and your chance of getting potions is likely to increase.
  • Warcamps are staging grounds for the battles between the two realms. Warcamps contain useful merchants, trainers, and quest NPCs, as well as a safe haven from the battles raging in the RvR areas.
  • Certain bind-on-pickup world items will give clues about what they can be used for. Successfully following these clues can lead to tome unlocks.
  • The average developer on WAR moved offices 3.4 times during game development.
  • You can preset item preferences for your bags for automatic sorting. Right-click on the small button that appears on the far right of each bag in your backpack. Then select your preference (weapons, armor, potions, etc).
  • You can have your gear dyed in two colors. When at the merchant, left-click for primary color and right click for secondary color.
  • Use the Main Menu to access the macros window.
  • Crafting skills can be dragged and dropped onto your action bars.
  • If at first you don’t succeed, excessive force is probably the answer.
  • A comfy chair is a great investment for your back, your hobby and the quality of your gaming.
  • You can give details about the purpose of an open party with the /partynote < > command.
  • Certain Runepriest and Zealot buffs will provide you with an additional spell ability for their full duration.
  • Pressing "Shift+Z" will hide/show your game UI.
  • The Greenskins worship Gork… or Mork…or possibly both?
  • The Tome of Knowledge is watching you... recording everything you do...
  • The Print Screen key is the default Screenshot key. Screenshots are stored in the "/screenshots" folder of your Warhammer install folder.
  • Dying with a standard in your hands will destroy the standard. Don’t worry; you can always purchase a new one.
  • Dying after planting a standard in the ground will result in the banner remaining there for a short time. It can then be retrieved by you or captured by an enemy player.
  • You must spend an extra mastery point to gain a skill or tactic once you have reached it with your mastery level.
  • Be sure to check back in each city district often. New quests will become available at each new city rank!
  • Did you know each of the Kings in the cities offer RvR quests? Be sure to visit them to aid in defending your realm!
  • Each city has three unique dungeons available for exploration that contain valuable treasure. Some are more hidden than others!
  • Think you're the best on your server when it comes to RvR? Be sure to visit the War Quarters in Altdorf and The Undercroft in the Inevitable City to see if your player statue is being represented!
  • Each city contains a library where you may purchase various tactics and trophies that you have unlocked out in the world!
  • Each city contains a unique banker that allows players to withdraw and deposit items into a guild vault.
  • Looking for a quick way to travel back to your capital city? Be sure to visit your cities guild tavern and purchase Guild Recall Scrolls!
  • Taking control of a Tier 4 zone will earn expedition resources.
  • Every player participating in completing a Public Quest in the Necropolis of Zandri will receive a Glyph. Each Public Quest rewards a different Glyph. Glyphs function in proper combination as keys to the instanced lairs found throughout the Necropolis.
  • Lairs, the Glyphs they require for entry, and the Public Quests that award those Glyphs can all be found on the Land of the Dead zone map.
  • Remember: Glyphs are collected in your Tome of Knowledge, not in your backpack.
  • Don't let them get away! Remember that you can chase your enemies into an instance!
  • The Tomb of the Vulture Lord is the massive pyramid at the western end of the Necropolis.
  • Dozens of new achievements, trophies, and unlocks can be found throughout the Land of the Dead.
  • After dying, you will respawn inside the Land of the Dead if your realm currently controls the dungeon. Otherwise you will respawn in your capital city.
  • Dying after planting a standard in the ground will result in the banner remaining there for a short time. It can then be retrieved by you or captured by an enemy player.
  • You must spend an extra mastery point to gain a skill or tactic once you have reached it with your mastery level.
