[edit] Extra T4 Zones
It looks like there's a problem. Each Neutral Zone has two small (but distinct) zones on either side of it which load seamlessly as they are part of the same tier. They only have PvE content. For instance Thunder Mountain has Death Peak to the east and Cinderfall to the right. link and link. It's looking like Praag has one: West Praag, which is pretty self explanatory. Isle of the Dead looks like it's one as well. Not only this, but it seems that the Fortresses are in there own zones which lie between the Capital (if there is one) and the T4 zone. For instance, Butcher's Pass lies between Black Crag and what would be Karak Eight Peaks - link. Time for some table updates and new pages, I think. ~ Revoran | talk 03:35, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Paired zones redundant?
I noticed when User:WTarrasque was creating a zone unlocks article that it has a "paired zone" identified on the page. Correct me if i'm wrong, but it's seeming more and more that the concept of paired zones is redundant. All zones have sections for both realms, dividing each one in two essentially, making the concept of a zone being paired directly with an enemy area a little redundant.
On the Elf battlefront both sides even start in the same zone and continue progression side by side, and in T4, paired zones might have a huge neutral zone between them. Similarly, semi-zones like Cinderfall and West Praag aren't paired with any area - Thunder Mountain has Cindefall and Death Peak, and Praag only has West Praag. The game isn't symmetrical and identifying paired zones seems pointless. If there is a more relevant talk page this could go on, feel free to move it there. ~ Revoran | talk 07:49, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. Likewise, I feel it's rather pointless to associate a zone with any individual race for many of the same reasons you've mentioned. No single zone belongs to a single race in this game; all share the same maps, even though play areas are (usually) geographically separated. -- Heaven's Agent 16:51, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
