Talk:Wageless Inquisition for Key Information

From HammerWiki

[Wiki]: Warriors Interested in Kataloguing Information? —Tanaric 15:40, 5 October 2006 (CDT)

Hehe, it works for me, but I think it would be prudent to hold off for more suggestions. :) --Bishop 01:15, 6 October 2006 (CDT)

Hmm... how about "We Inevitably Keep Inquiring" or "Warrior's Information Kept Intact"? No, no, wait, I got it!

Wageless Inquisition for Key Information

Ooh, that is very clever. I like it. So much that I think we'll keep it. If someone comes up with a better suggestion, we can always switch. ;) --Bishop 14:27, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
Hurrah! And so, the HammerWiki is forever marred by my presence. :) —Tanaric 01:19, 15 October 2006 (CDT)

Umm, I want to join :-) When it is all up an running of course. Nilator 16:24, 16 May 2007 (CDT)

Interesting name:) Now just make a nice guild logo:) You could also add the info about the would be guild in http://www.warhammeralliance.com/links/ ,theres a nice amount of guilds that will be created after War goes online. And will the guild be alliance or chaos btw? --SkyHiRider 14:30, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
Good question. I expect the natural answer is that it will be nessecary to have a chapter in each camp, simply because it would be impossible to test content from the other faction otherwise. However, I would like some input on whether or not it is actually a useful idea to have such a thing as a wiki-guild. I remember from GuildWiki that efforts to create something similar were in vain, but I can see both advantages and disadvantages, so I am currently somewhat at a loss on this issue. --Bishop 16:21, 4 June 2007 (CDT)
Well the best way is to try it in beta and see where it leads. And if there will be alliances in War than there wont be a problem that some1 wants to be in an RvR guild or just do quests, we could have bot RvR and PvE guilds in the ali so there shouldn't be a problem (I don't mean the whole ali being wiki-style,just one guild, probably wont have that amount of members). --SkyHiRider 12:20, 5 June 2007 (CDT)
I get the feeling this is going to be a guild for alts. I don't see it as a serious guild when it comes to playing the game, it's more of a collection of people who are interested in knowing all there is to know about WAR. If anyone is lucky enough to get into the beta test and wants to declare themselves a member of the W.I.K.I. guild, it should send out a message that that person is serious about testing the game and about helping other players increase their understanding of the game. There's nothing stopping guild members from just playing the game for fun, but the guild isn't about PvE/RvR or any particular style of play, and as such is pretty much unique.
Although I agree that the beta test is the perfect time for a guild like this to exist, we have to make sure that nothing in this wiki breaks the NDA. It's going to be difficult to prevent people from anonymously adding juicy bits of info from the beta, but we should make it clear that we're not here to help anyone break the terms of their contract, especially when it's not in the best interests of the game. Of course, once the NDA is lifted, we should have all kinds of kick ass articles ready to drop into the wiki the moment we get the all clear. -- Pendrako 03:53, 10 June 2007 (CDT)

I love "We Inevitably Keep Inquiring"  ! keep me informed and count me in when the open beta starts.

[edit] Server

Now that the beta is over and done with, it's time to propose a server for [WIKI] to use. For EU players, does anyone have any objections to Karak Azgal? On the side of Order, of course. - Pendrako talk 09:29, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

As this will probabaly be a guild for alts, I don't have a problem with the OC/US [WIKI] server being a US one - though I might not be joining you fine chaps for a couple of months. Destruction preferrably. Wishing all the best for you EU chaps with GOA... ~ Revoran | talk 10:16, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Since it looks like I will be a little more busy than I really have time for, I can't be a driving force behind WIKI. At least not for starters. If others do form the guild (and Karak Azgal seems as good a place as any), I'll be sure to drop by from time to time though. » Bishop · talk « 12:07, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
