[edit] Greek Influences
No offence but I didn't really see any Greek influences. Would someone care to point them out for me please? Mr.Xeight 03:18, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- The only greek influences I can see, are the fact that Greece doesn't have anything resembling itself in the Warhammer world.. The fact that it is made up of several city-states and are famed for their pikemen could be taken as a reference to pre-roman Greece wich was also made up of numerous city-states and were famed for the Hoplites who effectively is pikemen. In fact Greece did have a classical age where writing and such flourished, but I always considered the classical age mentioned to be a reference to Rome. -Rovdyr 09:50, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, I was just being on the safe side. However if most people want to remove the reference then I don't have a problem with that. ~ Revoran
I'm sure if Rovydr remembers me from WoWWiki he'll know why I'm making such a big deal out of this. I suppose we could reword to just say "Tilea has an Italian Renaissance feel to it with a sprinkle of Classical Greece in the form of experienced pikemen" or something along those lines. - Of course I remember you, you're part of Club 2500, it's impossible to visit a talk page without remembering you :P Anyways I think the article is fine but if you want to change it into something along that, I'm fine with it. -Rovdyr 12:03, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
