Talk:Nordland/History & Lore
From HammerWiki
A gentleman from 213.22.109.38 edited the page to say that the following are order only, in-game, upon inspection:
| The Order of the Griffon |
|---|
|
Just talk to any mobs with the word griffon in their name (Should get this automatically while leveling) - ORDER ONLY |
| Sigmar |
|---|
|
Second floor of the Grimmenhagen inn, there's a book on the floor. - ORDER ONLY |
| Militia |
|---|
|
Walk up to the farmer Jakob Hekel in Grimmenhagen Village, his farm's right next to the path leading northward out of the village. - ORDER ONLY |
| Superstition |
|---|
|
Just walk into the Grimmenhagen Inn. - ORDER ONLY |
| The Plague |
|---|
|
There's a house full of plague victims near the center of Grimmenhagen Village. - ORDER ONLY |
| Elector Counts |
|---|
|
This unlock is achieved by examining a dedication plaque south of the Grimmenhagen Farm. The location is approximately (31100, 46400). - appears ORDER ONLY, but might be a bug, since destruction can actually examine the plaque, but nothing happens |
I think verification is necessary prior to moving these to an 'Order Only' heading, but due to my experience with incorrectly made 'History & Lore' unlocks in-game, I don't doubt these are bugged or impossible to get to for Destruction characters. ¬ WTarrasque { talk | contribs } 14:36, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. We should have an template to flag articles for verification. I'm just not sure what it is. ;) -- Heaven's Agent 17:29, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think as Wiki's grow up they develop Template's for Dispute Resolution & Data verification. But remember the wiki mantra: Edit boldy (but don't be a dick) ¬ WTarrasque { talk | contribs } 02:17, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- HA - I think you might be looking for Template:Research needed, however i'll throw together a more specific one if you like. ~ Revoran | talk 09:57, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- That's the one I was thinking of, but it does lack a few thing. For example, there's no clear way to indicate what needs researching. A single line, such as with the deletion template, would probably be sufficient. If nothing else, it would be enough to write "see talk page." -- Heaven's Agent 13:46, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- Template:Research Needed is nice, but does not point out information needs VERIFICATION instead of being researched from first principles, if you understand what I mean. I'd appreciate a more accurate one, or reword to have "research needed" be slightly more vague. Maybe I'm being too thin-skinned, tho. ¬ WTarrasque { talk | contribs } 14:43, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
- I just had a nice idea. How about a Template:Verification needed, which is an innocuous link that automatically links to the talk page of the article, specifically to a heading on that talk page. For example, see this:
| My favorite duck |
|---|
|
You can't have this duck. It's mine. Verification Needed |
[edit] My favorite duck
You lie, the duck is mine. - Stealer of ducks!
- Is that a good idea, but too much work? ¬ WTarrasque { talk | contribs } 14:54, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
