Morgus isn't here, I'm sad to say. Them Dietrich's Dogs are even lower than filthy greenskins! Not content with stolen ale, they started raiding Bitterstone shipments. Now they've moved on t' kidnapping. Morgus is gone, and he was the only one who knew how to schedule shipments so they'd have a chance t' get through. Without Morgus we've lost more good dwarfs in the last week than we have in months. With any luck they're all locked up for ransom and not dead.

Enough's enough. If we goin' t' finish our business here by finishin' Dietrich and his band of thievin' manlings.

Find Morgus. If you can find him then set foot to path and make to killin' that Dietrich as well.

- Od Hrodgar

Summary Edit

Search for the Dog Warden's camp in Dragonbone Pass. It's along the river northeast of the Forgotten Hold. Kill the Dog Warden for the key to the shackles binding the Dwarfs. Learn what you can from the prisoners about Morgus' whereabouts.

Objectives Edit

  • Key to the Shackles 0/1
  • Shackles Unlocked 0/1

Quest Notes Edit

  • Quest objective 'Key to the Shackles' is automatically added to a player's inventory upon the defeat of the Dog Warden, a bandit mob located in a camp in Throng-A-Varaz.
  • This quest is completed when a player interacts with the object 'Prisoner Post' with the 'Key to the Shackles' in their possession. These posts are located in the same camp as the Dog Warden.

In Progress Edit

I've no doubt that Dietrich's Dogs are tied up in Morgus' disappearance somehow! Get t' findin' those prisoners, {name}!

- Od Hrodgar

On Completion Edit

That manling Wilhelm already took Morgus back to their camp to try and get him to talk. They were askin' lots of questions 'bout our caravan schedules an' the defenses at Skalfson's and the depot. As if he'd talk! If he gave any of that away, we'd all be ruined.

- Dwarf Prisoner, Upon Examination: Prisoner Post
