Slime Hound concept

A Slime Hound or Beast of Nurgle is a foul creature resembling a putrid, overgrown, mutated slug. They are daemonic servants of the Chaos God Nurgle.

Where Nurglings might be seen as the harbingers of the Nurgle, his Slime Hounds are the detritus that follows in his wake. Only once a place has become so corrupted as to be beyond his redemption can Slime Hounds be found in any great number. Between their great maws and terrible toxins, nothing can exist where they tread.

Tome Text Edit

When the hordes of Nurgle have grown great and the area is thick with the stench of disease and the slime of mutation, the Slime Hounds of Nurgle will crawl out from the depths to feed. Taking the form of a massive, black-spotted slug, the monster is a terrible amalgamation of razor sharp teeth, useless limbs, and barbed tentacles. It seems as if whatever mutations were left after creating his Spawns, the Father of Flies gifted these terrible creatures.

Butchering Slime Hounds results in the following types of apothecary ingredients:

  • Scales (Armor)
  • Zoic Gore (Stabilizer)
  • Animal Humor (Restoration)
