Sharpthorn Wud is a Public Quest located in Mount Bloodhorn, and is part of Chapter 2 of the Greenskin WAR story. This Public Quest is located in the woods located on either side of the road leading from the Chapter 1 area; as such, it is some of the first Chapter 2 content encountered by most Greenskin characters.
The quest is divided into three stages:
- Stage 1 Kill 80 Tenacious Spites
- Spites are located throughout the woods on either side of the road. They are standard level 5 mobs.
- Stage 2 Chop down 10 Sharpwood Trees, Kill 10 Vengeful Dryads
- Located in the woods are large trees that can be attacked. Attacking a tree quickly triggers an animation of the tree falling down- being struck by the falling tree does no damage, but may affect your ability to target enemies on the other side of the fallen tree. Each tree fell spawns a Vengeful Dryad, a Champion Dryad mob, that will attack whoever attacked the tree.
- Stage 3 Solaryn
- Once Stage 2 is completed, a Hero Dryad mob named Solaryn will activate near the center of the woods north of the road. Once Solaryn is defeated, the Public Quest is complete.
