RVR Lake is a term coined to describe the areas where open RVR combat may occur. There is usually one RVR Lake in every Tier of a given Realm Pairing and they generally tend to lie across the zone borders. T2 and T3 Dwarf/Orc RVR Lakes are the exception to this generalization, with an entirely separate lake in each zone. The Lake or Lakes in T1, T2 and T3 each contain 4 Battlefield Objectives in total. In T4, there are 4 Battlefield Objectives per non-fortress zone. In T2, T3 and T4, each zone contains 2 Keeps, with the exception of Fortress zones, which have a single Fortress.
