Mountains of Mourn

The Mountains of Mourn are a large range of mountains in the Warhammer World which form the eastern barrier of the Dark Lands and connect in the north with the World's Edge Mountains. To the north east, the mountains pan out into a series of plateaus, ridges and plains covered in dry forest known as the Eastern Steppes. The Mountains are extremely high and desolate, and even very dry in some places. Aside from containing the Ogre Kingdoms, they are inhabited by many other creatures such as Beastmen, many Yhetees and some Hobgoblins. The Dwarfs, at the height of their power, had many holds in the Mountains of Mourn, but these were abandoned with the coming of Chaos.
