Malphus is a Black Drake ever-present during the Spires of Narthain Public Quest. Players entering the area and looking to the sky may see Malphus engaged in battle with the Sun Drake during the first two stages of the Public Quest. When the third stage begins, Malphus will be defeated by the Sun Drake and perish ignominiously.

Malphus is a magical Black Drake, and as such has the ability to shoot dark energy at multiple enemies within her sight, as well as breathing a concentrated stream of black gas at nearby targets.
