Live Events are special events run by Mythic which affect WAR and change gameplay for the players, adding variety and fun new limited-time experiences, items, quests and so forth. Live Events are often, though not always, themed around fictional holidays and festivals in Warhammer Lore (see Calendar).

Live Events also sometimes occur in parallel to real world holidays, they often occur in conjunction with minor or major Patches and can repeated annually.
