This style guide is intended to be used to provide a standard layout for Ability articles - Actions, Morale abilities and Tactics.

[edit] Action information

Articles describing actions should contain the following:

  • Career: All Careers that have access to the action should be listed.
  • Type: skill, spell, offensive, defensive, slow, crowd control, heal, buff, debuff, root, area of effect (AOE), or finisher.
  • Target: Enemy, Friendly, Self
  • Action Points: The required action points.
  • Range: Range of the action in relation to target. Self (0), Melee (0-10), or a value measured in feet (or metres for the European version?).
  • Cast Time: Time it takes for action to be used. When required use "Instant".
  • Cooldown: Cooldown or mandatory wait period between use of the action.
  • Duration: If the action has an extended effect on the target, please list the duration of the spell.
  • Description: A brief description of the action's effects.
  • Visual: A description of how the action is portrayed in the game when used.

  • Specification: Career, Archetype or Racial, with corresponding criteria.
  • Type: offensive, defensive, slow, crowd control, heal, buff, debuff, root, area of effect (AOE) or finisher.
  • Target: Enemy, Friendly, Self
  • Range: Self (0), Melee (0-10), or a value measured in feet (or metres for the European version?).
  • Cast Time: Time it takes for the morale ability to be used. When required use "Instant".
  • Cooldown: Cooldown or mandatory wait period between use of the ability.
  • Duration: If the ability has an extended effect on the target, please list the duration of the spell.
  • Description: A brief description of the ability's effects, for each morale stage.
  • Visual: A description of how the ability is portrayed in the game when used.

  • Specification: Career, Renown or Tome.
  • Type: The type of tactic: offensive, defensive, slow, crowd control, heal, buff, debuff, root, area of effect (AOE).
  • Target: The target of the tactic's effects: Enemy, Friendly, Self
  • Range: Range of the tactic in relation to target. Self (0), Melee (0-10), or a value measured in feet (or metres for the European version?).
  • Description: A brief description of the tactic's effects when in use.
  • Visual: A description of how the action is portrayed in the game when used.
