This is a general help directory for HammerWiki. Please refer to the table of contents to find the information you need, topics are in alphabetical order. Always remember that other users are here to help and you can always ask them questions, if they cannot help you an administrator will probably be able to. In particular, User:Pendrako has a large help guide on his page, and User:Bishop is the most senior staff member.

• For issues that involve the whole community of HammerWiki, please use the Community Portal talk page for discussion.
• For issues with administrators see this page.
• For issues with normal users contact an administrator.
• For HammerWiki Policies (effectively the "rules" of the wiki, however they are still open to discussion) go here.

[edit] Helping HammerWiki

If you want to know how best to contribute and help HammerWiki improve and grow, these pages may interest you:

• How to help - This is a guide on how best to contribute to HammerWiki.
• Help needed - This is the page that changes the look of the "Help needed" Widget, it is unable to be edited by normal users but has some basic tasks you can do to make yourself useful. (To enable to Widget, in the HammerWiki default skin, on the top right, click "MORE" then "Manage widgets" then "Help needed". The Widget will then appear under the left hand sidebar.)
• It is always worth going through our Stubs (very short articles) and expanding them with more information.

The main contents of HammerWiki (listed on the naviagtion bar to your left) contain extensive information on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (the previous link is a general overview). For those who came here from a search engine (Google and Yahoo) you will want to visit our Main Page by clicking here or on our logo in the top left.

• There is our List of abbreviations for those who are confused by words such as PBAoE, and the more in depth Glossary of terms.

[edit] Wiki Editing

Do you need help understanding how to edit a wiki (a website like HammerWiki or Wikipedia)? Click link at the top of an article to edit it. Typing certain characters in a wiki will cause the wiki do display various things, this is called "wiki code".

• Editing guide - This is the general guide to editing HammerWiki, it contains basic on editing a wiki and will teach you the basics of wiki code.
• Wikipedia:How to edit a page - This is a much more extensive guide and may contain things our editing guide does not.
• MetaWiki Advanced Editing Guide - Contains information on advanced wiki syntax code should you wish to use complex wiki functions.
• Templates A101 and Help:Template contain information on templates (complex formatting features that require advanced wikicode).
