Leopold Unfähiger was the Emperor directly following the reign of Magnus the Pious. Prior to his election as Emperor, he was the Elector Count of Stirland.[1a]
When Magnus the Pious died, the Empire would normally have passed to his brother, Gunthar von Bildhofen. However, because von Bildhofen, an Ulrican, made the mistake of antagonizing the Grand Theogonist of the time, Leopold was elected in his stead. Little is known about him, other than the fact that Leopold's grandson was the infamous and incompetent Emperor Dieter IV.[1b]
