Legions of the Asp

There were four regiments in the Legions of the Asp – Sable, Crimson and Sand. Each of the formations was known by their distinctive snake banner – totems that they had borne to victory time and again. In death, as in life, the famed archer legions of Queen Khalida had a rightful reputation for deadly accuracy.^[1a]
