High Priest of Ulric, and the central authority in the Cult of Ulric, Emil Valgeir is bestowed the greatest seat of power in the cult, having almost as great an influence and power as those of other Elector Counts. He is also an extremely exceptional warrior, as the Cult of Ulric values valour and power above all else, which would make the priesthood of the religion nothing more than pious wolf-furred warriors.

History

Emil Valgeir's tenure was shaped by rising conflicts between the Cult of Ulric and the Cult of Sigmar, fueled by the wandering preacher Luthor Huss.

Storm of Chaos

During the Storm of Chaos, Emil Valgeir led the Knights of the White Wolf together with his loyal Teutogen Guard against the Everchosen.[1a] He fought and defeated Archaon's lieutenant Haargoth the Bloody, Champion of Khorne during the Siege of Middenheim in 2522 IC.

The End Times

During the End Times, Emil Valgeir was part of the armies that fought against the advancing hordes of chaos at the Auric Bastion.[2a] Here, he was slain and impersonated by the tzeentchian daemon known as the Changeling.[2b]

Wargear

  • Hammer-axe of Skoll - The symbol of office of the Ar-Ulric, the Hammer-axe has been wielded by every Ar-Ulric since the time of Sigmar.[1a]
  • Wolfplate Armor - An enchanted suit of armor adorned with the symbols of the Winter God that protects its wearer against fire.[1a]
