Esbern Weaver is a Lieutenant in the Order of the Griffon, serving under the direct command of the knight Viktor Riese. While Riese went to defend Grimmenhagen Village from the Norse marauders, Weaver was left in charge of defending the southernmost stretch of Nordland's coastline. Initially overwhelmed, his forces have been pushed back to the Grey Lady Coaching Inn, where he can be found preparing to move against the invading northerners in a counteroffensive.
