Desolation of Nagash

The Desolation of Nagash is a desert region surrounding the cursed city Nagashizzar, home of Nagash. It lies in the Worlds Edge Mountains, north of the Sour Sea. Ever since Cripple Peak harboured warpstone, the land around was tainted by the evil mutations of Chaos, but when Skaven and the Undead of Nagash started to mine it, warpstone dust fouled the area, killing animals and plants. It turned into a naked desert only inhabitat by Ghouls, degenerated people, and the animated undead of a forgotten army that fell in battle against Nagash centuries ago.
