Nagash's new body was originally formed from Volkmar, a distant blood relation of Sigmar, and the resurrection ritual was enacted through the sacrifice of the priests/priestess of many other divine beings. On his rebirth he ripped Shyish from the Great Vortex himself, but was unable to fully become an Incarnate due to the impurity of one of the sacrifices used to resurrect him. He then consumed the goddess Valaya of the Dwarfs and Usirian god of the Nehekharan underworld.
