Whether the Daemonvine is merely a mutated form of plant or a Daemonic being in and of itself is a mystery no one has survived to solve. Whatever the beast may be, it is most assuredly deadly.
Undulating like the fingertips of some great beast lurking just beneath the surface of the Chaos Wastes, the Daemonvines grasp and snap at any that choose to enter their domain. If you must enter these macabre "forests", be sure to arm yourself with a stout heart and a stouter blade.
"The land itself be damned! Tendrils keep burstin' from the ground, houndin' our every step. We've lost nigh on twelve men to the Daemonvines since we began our trek 'ere, an' the goin' isn't gettin' easier. I can't even ken 'ow long we've been in this accursed place. Time flows differently, an' constantly 'avin' to look where yer walkin' for fear of gettin' throttled by a great purple tentacle makes the time go faster.
