You hold in your hand an Aged Manuscript, written by hand with elaborate lettering. The book explores the martial differences between the High Elves and their estranged cousins, the Dark Elves. Tactics are discussed, as are the reasons for the divergence from one people to two insofar as their methods of war are concerned.
'The Dark Elves embrace the beast within, harnessing their inherent blood lust,' the Manuscript reads. 'Their tactics instill horror in their enemies, thereby weakening foes long before battle is joined.'
The author, a High Elf named Draethenil Sunwalker, is well-versed in the Dark Elf methods of war. As this appears to be his original manuscript, perhaps it would be wise to return it to him.
- Locate Draethenil Sunwalker, and give him the Aged Manuscript.

How can this be? My original manuscript!
Long ago, I learned of the Sundering and I became obsessed with the methods of warfare employed by the Dark Elves. I delved deeply into their psyche, and in doing so, I was able to see through their eyes. What a terrifying vision that was.
Fear is the Dark Elf's stock in trade. The only way to combat such a strategy is to inure oneself to horror. Though a seemingly prudent response, this forces us to sacrifice our sensitivity to brutal acts. To become numb to violence is to walk a treacherous path.
