[edit] Terminology
I'm not a big fan of the word Lore. I know it's commonly used for MMORPGs, but it still rubs me up the wrong way. How about using Background Material instead? --Pendrako 04:52, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
- Background Material makes it sound like the story setting for a game like Unreal Tournament. I don't like "lore" either, but can you perhaps think of something better than Background Material? I don't know much about the Warhammer story though, so don't take my opinion heavily. --Deadpool 15:29, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
i some what agree with the lore and background material part, but this game is comming from an awesome table game and a fantastic series of books. the lore part should be there somewhere seeing as most of the info is from the books and manuals. Also i was wondering if more information from the books will be put on the site since it is merged with the warhammer wik, like malus darkblade or gortek and felix for example. just wonderin :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tomo (contribs) 00:22, January 15, 2008.
- The general rule I've been following for this is - if it's in the game, it should be in the Wiki. When we know more about how much of the previously published Warhammer background has made it into the game, we can start adding more specific lore articles. There's plenty more that can still be added right now as far as the big WH storylines go, but adding material from black library books is probably beyond our scope for the time being. -- Pendrako talk 20:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
