Every Black Guard may gain 15 career Tactics, 27 Actions and 9 Morale abilities. Each Mastery Path contains another 3 Actions, 3 Tactics, and 1 Morale Ability.

Flee Flee Action Buff Core Ability Instant None None 30 Sec You run away from the battle in a mad panic, increasing your run speed by 30 for 10 seconds. You immediately lose all of your action points, any career mechanic points, and your Morale will begin to drop, and you will not begin to regain action points until 10 seconds have passed.

Deflect Oil Deflect Oil Action 10 (R) Buff Core Ability Channeled 30ft None 5 Min Channeled 10% reduction in damage taken by Oil siege engines. You will also protect two other group mates within 30 feet. Only one effect of this type may be on a player at a time.
BG Hold The Line! Hold The Line! Action 10 Ailment Core Ability Instant None (40ft) 20 AP/Sec 60 Sec Requires Shield. You focus your defenses against enemy fire, increasing your chances to dodge and disrupt by 45% for 12 seconds. You will also defend all allies behind you, up to 40 feet away, increasing their chances to dodge and disrupt by 15% as long as they remain at your back. Allies may have this effect stacked on them up to 3 times. This effect will end if you break your concentration, or run out of action points.
BG Guard Guard Action 10 Debuff Core Ability Instant 150ft None None Only usable on other players. You defend one of your group mates and try to take attacks meant for them. As long as you are within 30 feet of them, any damage that they suffer will be split evenly between the two of you, and 35% of all hate that they cause will be redirected to you.
BG Juggernaut Juggernaut Action 12 Ailment Core Ability Instant None 45 AP 60 Sec You become filled with unstoppable power, removing all snaring, rooting, silencing, and disarming effects.

BG Challenge Challenge Action 20 Blessing Core Ability Instant None 30 AP 30 Sec You challenge all opponents in front of you, forcing monsters to attack you. While challenged, your opponents will deal 30% less damage to everyone other than you. This effect will fade after 15 seconds or after your opponent has hit you 3 times.
BG Shatter Enchantment Shatter Enchantment Action 22 Damaging Core Ability Instant 5ft 25 AP 5 Sec Target must have an Enchantment. You shatter one Enchantment from your enemy and deal X damage.

Modify War Engine Modify War Engine Action 30 (R) Ailment Core Ability 3 Sec 5ft None 5 Min Only usable on Siege Engines. Decreases the cooldown times of the targeted siege engine by X seconds for 30 seconds.
BG Chains of Hatred Chains of Hatred Action 30 Ailment Core Ability Instant None 30 AP 60 Sec Taken aback by your seething contempt, up to 4 enemies within 30 feet are rooted in place, making them unable to move for 10 seconds. Rooted targets have a 50% chance to break free when they suffer damage.

BG Horrific Wound Horrific Wound Action 40 Buff Path of Malice Instant 5ft 25 Hatred None Cuts open a vicious wound, dealing X damage and gradually causing Y damage over 5 seconds, during which time they will not gain any morale.
Demolishing Strike Demolishing Strike Morale (1) 8 Buff Core Ability Instant Morale (1) 5ft 60 Sec A powerful melee attack which reduces armor by X and deals Y damage over 15 seconds.
Champion's Challenge Champion's Challenge Morale (1) 16 Buff Core Ability Instant Morale (1) 5ft 60 Sec Both you and your target are held tightly in place for 10 seconds, and neither one of you can move. This effect cannot be dispelled or broken.
BG Banish Weakness Banish Weakness Morale (1) 28 Healing Core Ability Instant Morale (1) None 60 Sec A cry of rage removes all Hexes, Curses, and Ailments from you. You will regain 50 Action Points and X health for each effect removed.
Shield Wall Shield Wall Morale (2) 12 Buff Core Ability Instant Morale (2) None 60 Sec Requires Shield. Increases your chance to block by 100% for 10 seconds.
Raze Raze Morale (2) 20 Buff Core Ability Instant Morale (2) 65ft 60 Sec Repeatedly attack all enemies in front of you, inflicting X damage every second for 3 seconds, up to 65 feet away.
BG Away, Cretins! Away, Cretins! Morale (2) 32 Damaging Core Ability Instant Morale (2) None 60 Sec No longer able to bear looking upon your opponents, you knockback everyone within 30 feet of you for X damage. Monsters will be knocked down.

Abilities Gained From Mastery PathsEdit

These abilities can be gained by adding mastery points into different mastery paths. These points also increase the 'effective level' of every base ability in their path, making them more powerful.

Path of MaliceEdit

Following the path of Malice means mastering ones rage and molding it into a powerful weapon. The Black Guard who embrace Malice are capable of unleashing powerful attacks fueled by their Hatred. Frequently seen on the front lines, these Black Guard traditionally wield powerful halberds which allow them to cleave through steel and flesh alike.

BG Crimson Death Crimson Death Action 13 Damaging Instant 5ft None 10 Sec Costs 30 Hatred. Requires Great Weapon. A great cleave that strikes all targets 30 feet in front of you for X damage and making them 10% more likely to be critically hit by others for 5 seconds.
BG Khaine's Warding Khaine's Warding Morale (4) 15 Damaging Instant None Morale (4) 60 Sec Khaine's favor shines on those with strength and skill, so for the next 10 seconds anytime anyone in your group blocks an attack, the entire group gains regains X health.
Tactic Green Gear Monstrous Ruin Tactic 3 Buff Passive Tactic None None Blade of Ruin and Monstrous Rending both cost 10 less Hate to use.

Path of LoathingEdit

The Path of Loathing is one of disdain for others, and embracing the belief that none can defeat you on the field of battle. As such, Blackguard of this mastery become unconquerable obstacles that even the most potent of offense will break against. Those who embrace Loathing prefer to work with a tall shield and a strong sword so they can relish in the ringing sound of futile blows falling on hardened steel.

For 10 seconds your Armor is increased by 990 and you will become less likely to be Critically hit depending on your Hatred. (See Force of Fury for effect scale.)
BG Wave of Scorn Wave of Scorn Action 13 Debuff Instant 65ft 30 AP 20 Sec A great wave spreads 65 feet in front of you, inflicting X damage and reducing movement by 40% for 10 seconds.
BG Blast Of Hatred Blast of Hatred Morale (4) 15 Damaging Instant None Morale (4) 60 Sec You spread a wave of malicious loathing towards all the peons 65 feet in front of you. So searing is this hate that those in your path move 40% slower and suffer X damage over 15 seconds.
Tactic Green Gear Terrifying Foe Tactic 3 Buff Passive Tactic None None Hateful Strike will now increase your Toughness for 20 seconds based on your Hate. (See Terrifying Foe for effect scale.)

Path of AnguishEdit

Those who master the Path of Anguish master pain itself. This allows the Black Guard to shrug off even the most potent of magical attacks that would normally pierce their finely crafted armor. Masters of Anguish are traditionally chosen to server as the Witch King's personal executioners seeking out and destroying the arcane powers that would wish to strike their liege down.

BG Bolstering Anger Bolstering Anger Action 13 Ailment Instant None 10 Hatred per 3 Sec 60 Sec Costs 10 Hatred every 3 seconds. You focus your Hatred inward, cursing yourself for your weakness, and force yourself to march on by recovering 225 health every 3 seconds for up to 30 seconds. This effect will end if you run out of Hate.
BG In Malekith's Name! In Malekith's Name! Morale (4) 15 Damaging Instant None Morale (4) 60 Sec A fierce curse in the Witch Kings name brings overwhelming pain to those who hear it. Opponents within 30 feet of you receive X damage and are Silenced for 7 seconds.
