Many humanoid, intelligent races populate the world of Warhammer, which Warhammer Online is based in. Some are tribal, some are nomadic and some form great empires; some even constructing immense cities and embracing various forms of civilization.

When the Age of Reckoning dawns, a handful of these larger civilizations are drawn into a mighty conflict and these together form the armies that will be playable in WAR.

Playable Armies Edit

The great conflict separates the major races into two distinct factions that wage war against each other: the forces of Order and the forces of Destruction. Your choice of army importantly influences which other armies you will be allied with, and also dictates what career options will be available to you.

The Forces of Order Edit

The Order of the Griffon, army of the Empire. (Humans)

The Oathbearers, army of the Dwarfs.

The Shining Guard, army of the High Elves. (Elves)

The Forces of Destruction Edit

The Raven Host, army of Chaos. (Corrupted Humans)

The Bloody Sun Boyz, army of the Greenskins. (Orcs and Goblins)
